E-Learning Tools

Apple Screenflow

Apple ScreenFlow is a commercial software used to record screen contents (Screen Capturing) and is therefore suited for videotaping and recording presentations and lectures. It is also possible to create e-learning content in different formats. Contents can be produced in several different formats. You will find further information at the website of Apple ScreenFlow.

The multimedia group of the RRZK offers Macbooks with Screenflow for borrowing. Further information can be found on our website for the rental equipment.

Wikis are well suited for collaborative work concerned with contents and are therefore put to use in e-learning and blended learning. The RRZK makes Wikis available to University institutions engaged in teaching and research.

Blogs are also well suited for work in e-learning or blended learning-environments. Institutes at the University of Cologne can install blog software involved in web projects on their own or they can use the RRZK blog software.
