Video and Web Conferences

A video conference is one of the easiest and often the most economic way to communicate with partners and to present and work together on documents.

Recording Lectures

You would like to offer your students the possibility to review the lecture at home, including all PowerPoint sheets and hand-written notes? The RRZK supports this option with several products, in Windows with Lecturnity and Camtasia as well as in MacOS with ScreenFlow.

Lecture Room Transmission

You are hosting a conference and have found that the lecture room capacity is not sufficient for some of the presentations? Image video (with one or two cameras) and sound can be transmitted inside the university from one lecture room to the other.

Videos On-demand

Although smaller videos can be provided as a download by the web server, for videos with a runtime of more than 5 minutes this is not a good option. These must first be downloaded completely, before they can be depicted. Here, Video On-demand helps by means of progressive download or streaming using the RRZK video server

Lending

The RRZK provides sample hardware with accessories which university facilities lend out.

Media Production / Video Editing Site

For production of your media contents, for capturing, video editing and rendering etc., a modern video editing site on the basis of an Apple system is available at the RRZK. The video editing site is equipped with Adobe Premiere and Apple Final Cut and can be booked by the hour as well as for entire days. To book please use our contact form.

Retrospective Digitization

The RRZK multimedia Group is glad to support you in the retrospective digitization of audio and video recordings, for example from VHS-tapes onto DVDs. This is a service which helps to back up your valuable archive data for the future and make it available in present-day media.

We also offer guidance with technical problems as well as support with projects involving research and teaching. The extent of support has to be determined in each individual case.
