The 'Deutsche Forschungsnetz' offers with the 'DFNconf' service a simple solution for videoconferences with up to a total of 100 participants (Display limited to 34 video participants). Participation is possible with a wide variety of end devices such as a smartphone (via app), via computer (browser-based), with a video conferencing system and even via telephone dial-in. After further development by DFN and Pexip two separate videos can now be displayed, one video track for the presenter and one for a presentation or the screen content of the presenter. For a possible recording two separate videos can be created.
In addition, Pexip meetings can now also be made accessible to the public via live streaming (after separate activation). The streaming link generated in this way can be freely distributed to viewers worldwide. On the streaming page, a text chat is available as a feedback channel.
