Since April 2023, we have been talking to numerous experts from the Regional Computing Center and other IT professionals at the University of Cologne in our interview series "For a Cookie with ...". In this series, we want to take a look behind the scenes of IT professionals and gain an insight into their day-to-day work as well as current topics and challenges in the IT environment of a university. What do users need to consider when it comes to cybersecurity or data management? What's new in the fields of virtual reality and HPC? And what do employees at our helpdesk actually do?
