Barbarastollen in the University of Cologne
This is probably one of the most unusual mining museum in North Rhine-Westphalia and is located under the main building of the University of Cologne: a replica of a hard coal mining tunnel, which can be visited virtually in the form of a 3D scan and a 360-degree film.

Roman chamber grave in Cologne-Weiden
The burial chamber is one of the best preserved Roman burial chambers north of the Alps. Unfortunately, there are very few parking spaces on site and even then it can only be reached via 2 steep staircases. It is therefore not trivial to make the burial chamber accessible to a broader public or to people with restricted mobility. The virtual representation can solve both problems by creating the ability to show the data both on the web and in immersive environments. Further information.
