Software development for Apple devices
To submit custom apps to the Apple App Store, or to install enterprise apps on iOS devices, you need access to the Apple Developer Program. Apps submitted to this program appear in the University of Cologne App Store.
Important: Only free apps can be distributed via the developer program.
If you are interested in accessing the program please contact Mister Hagedorn from the RRZK who manages the program for the University of Cologne. Students may be given access to the Apple Developer Program in connection with supervised courses or projects. Please ask your supervisor to contact Mister Hagedorn.
Available to:
Students (in supervised research projects) and institutions of the University of Cologne.
Terms of use
Participation in the program requires a specific project which will be published under the name of the university on the App Store. Most actions must be approved by the RRZK before the apps are released. This is the only way of publishing apps under the name "Universität zu Köln".
