Status is not updating — Delete cache

If you are using the Rocket.Chat app on a smartphone, tablet, or PC, you may occasionally encounter a situation where no updates are displayed. This can happen, for example, when you try to change your online status (green/yellow/red) but the change is not saved. In this case, new chat messages may also not be displayed.

To fix this issue, try clearing your local cache. On a PC, click on View in the menu and select Reload ignoring cache.

On an iPhone or other device, go to the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) and find the option at the bottom of the settings list labeled Clear local server cache. Select this option to clear the cache.
