Is there an LDAP service for authentication in my LDAP application?

If you would like to use university user accounts for authentication in an LDAP-based application, you can request access to the RRZK LDAP server. After your request has been verified in detail, you will be able to read some user attributes from the LDAP:

After approval of your request, we will provide you with more information on using the LDAP server.

Prerequisites:

• The application must be located within an organization which is part of the University of Cologne.
• For decentralized applications (for an institute, faculty or working group), you must obtain permission from the Data Protection Supervisor and the appropriate staff council.
