Read MAC address under Linux

The easiest way to obtain the MAC address of a Linux computer is via the console interface. To do this, open a terminal from the system tools.

  1. Use the "netstat -ei" command to obtain an overview of the network cards. Normally, the primary network card has the designation "eth0".
